Calling out to VF Fibre X customers that have VF TV ( T-Box) how are those boxes performing these days? Has Vodafone ironed out the bugs with it.

Mine have always worked fine, guess im the exception. But I find less use for it these days - we dont do much live pause, the content from sky is pretty average at best. I don't believe it's really worth it anymore.

Seems to be okay for me. I just watch TV and record and watch shows. Sometimes the picture can show some pixellation but that could be a signal issue.

It's really slow though - takes a few seconds to respond to menu command or even channel change. There is a firmware pending message on the screen but for the life of me I don't know how to activate it. I have restarted the box a few times and nothing happens. Maybe I should leave what's working okay alone?

That banner on the guide is talking about The Vodafone TV app for mobiles, not Set top box.

Well if I go to the Vodafone website it says the latest software release is v3.5.2 and mine is 3.13 so there is an update pending but I have no idea how to update my recorder.

But the release I am running seems very slow and channel change takes ages. But it does have the paired device option

Change the channel faster by using 3 numbers - Eg enter 001 instead of 1, 011 instead of 11, pad it to 3 numbers. When you don't use 3 numbers it waits a few seconds to see if you're going to use more numbers

That works pretty well. I had no idea. Thanks

This according to my mother who has one and when I go around there I certainly feel fustrated when using it.
