Hi all,

Am I missing something really obvious, or is there no way of adding a static route to the Huawei B315 ?

There's a FAQ on Spark's website that says the B315 doesn't support static routes so I imagine the Vodafone version would be the same.

2024 Mac mini M4 | 2025 iPad Air 13" M3 (Blue) | 2025 iPad Air 11" M3 (Starlight) | iPhone 15 Pro Max (Natural Titanium) | HomePod (Space Grey) | 10x HomePod mini (Space Grey, White, Yellow, Blue, Orange) | 4x Apple TV 4K | Apple Watch Ultra 2

Missed that one when I was Google searching; thanks.

Pity; seems to be a fairly fundamental flaw.  Having said that, the router is clearly the lowest-end consumer device available, judging by it's interface and design; so that doesn't entirely surprise me.  Most home setups wouldn't need to do any routing.

The capability is probably available in the firmware itself they just haven't bothered to create a web UI for it.

Or that it exists but is hidden i.e. not accessible through navigation menu

Or not available to due to privilege level (only available to super admin level)

I understand that Ultimate Broadband offer static IP.

Does anyone offer a better router option than the B315?  I see on the Ultimate Broadband website they have a router upgrade option but I cannot find any information as to what this might mean.  They have no sales support during the weekend so cannot ask them.
