Is it possible to provision the SPA922/942/962 etc IP phones on VFX with a more fuller featured config? For example, in the menu there are some options to setup call-forwarding, but they have a ! in front of them. Can these phones be configured to make those options available? There are a few other options around too like DoNotDisturb.

Just very handy for those who can never remember the call divert codes etc.

Hi Coffebaron,

Yes good point and understand where you are coming from, Problem being the interaction back to the centralised system could lead to service mismatchs ie 2 sets of DND, 2 different Call Forwards etc, controlling the services from the voice or Web Portals could lead to some issues but it is something we are working on and with newer firmware for all systems which may give some more flexibilty so that the softkey functions will actually work back though to the centrealised server and be reflected in web and voice portals.

Cool, look forward to it. No sure how all the back end works, but my guess was that the menu items would effectively be programed with the applicable *code, so using them would just be like manually dialing the *code and number, but a little simpler.

Actually no, it will be a little bit involved tha that, it will effectivly "hook" into an interface that works with out backend application servers, and won't be using star codes.

That sounds great! Be good if it's fancy enough to display info on the screen too - e.g. "all calls diverted" etc, and smart context appropriate soft buttons.
And of course you will post a firm and binding date for release of this update here on geekzone - lol Smile
