Hello all!
I have done a bit of searching, but have kind of run into a brick wall over this one.
I am looking to move to Australia in about four weeks time, and want to take my NZ number with to keep in touch with family. Initally I will be staying in backpackers, who have wireless internet available for use. What I am wanting to do is work out a way to port my number to VFX, and have a phone connection that I can connect to the wireless network to use while I am in Australia, until we get our own place.
I have seen people recommending getting a VoIP desk phone and a wireless adapter, however I haven't been able to find where I can get the adapters from (though someone posted a picture of one), and also need to know what I will need in the way of power requirements. (ie will I need 2 power points or one?)
I will also have my laptop over there (Mac), if that can be factored into the equation...
I am looking for the most cost effective solution available, as budgets will be tight to start out.
Any help will be appreciated!
Thanks
