Good Day to all,

Just wanting a bit of help regarding our Fibre Max speeds. Last week we upgraded from fibre 200 to the Fibre Max 700-900 option. Since then we recieved a message from vodafone saying the connection and upgrade has beeen done and is working but with same download and upload speeds as the old one. Currently using my own router Asus RT-AC68U and still gives the same speed of 150/30. Already called vodafone support and they said its due to my router which I doubt. They sent a Ultra Hub and said that it would work automatically once installed which it didnโ€™t (Same old speed) I have done a complete power cycle for Both router and the fiber box on the wall as well without no luck.

By the way..Tested the speed through LAN Ethernet cable plugged direct to Router

Is it a common problem? I will call tech support again but just wanted to ask maybe someone can help out ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ™

Thank you

Sounds like it might be a Provisioning issue.

Just a late-night idea you could try after seeing this thread - https://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?forumid=40&topicid=242549

Try unplugging the cable modem for 5 mins, fire it back up and see if its any better

Hi

I have the same issue having upgraded from Fibre 100 to Fibre Max.
I have received the emails informing me that the upgrade has completed but I am yet to be able to measure anything above my old speeds of approx 100/20 down/up.
I first tried using my existing HG659 Home Gateway and when that didnโ€™t seem to measure any different, I installed my nice new UltraHub without any noticeable difference in speed test results either.
Iโ€™ve cycled the modems multiple times (currently using the UltraHub) to no avail.
I contacted a Ninja online who basically said to wait another 24 hours before Iโ€™d see any noticeable difference but I dont believe that to be required to see any difference from previous speed profile, potentially that might be the period to see the best possible speed Iโ€™m likely to get but otherwise I wouldnโ€™t have thought so.
I suspect itโ€™s a provisioning issue with the speed profile but it would be good to get this confirmed if possible.

Cheers
J

Exactly the same issue with me...i can confirm that its not on the router side and possibly its on the paramaters/provisioning on IPโ€™s side. Hoping it will be working tomorrow morning ๐Ÿคž or even anytime tomorrow

Hi @GuvnorNutter

Possible that the ninja was confused by VDSL DLM for some reason, dunno how that would come up in conversation about fiber max?

Let me know your account details via PM and I can have a look.

Just dropping a message here to confirm that both connections have been sorted.

Both cases were different provisioning issues.

Thanks heaps.

Shaun.
