Want to do a ring test on my landline phone but can't remember the test ring number.

Depends what type of 'landline' you have. 136/137 will only work on Spark NEAX's which now make up a minority of voice connections in the country.
call it from your cell phone
083201234 should work on most networks.

You're correct. My mistake.
Thanks to everyone that replied to my request for help. The problem is now fixed.

Are they a minority?
I would of thought the majority are still coming from the NEAX. It amazes me how many businesses we still come across running POTS - makes selling VoIP rather easy!!

Chevrolux - many now appear to look (terminate as analogue at customers end) but in fact are switched digitally (non neax) (and even far remote from the customer) and delivered only out of a cabinet/exchange equipment off the same card as the Broadband is. / Smaller NEAXs (single bay) are being/have been removed)

I haven't heard a number since late last year but it wouldn't surprise me if Spark are now approaching 100 NEAX switch that have been shut down and customers migrated to the CCN. Those customers wouldn't even know they're now on VoIP because for all appearances to them they have a regular POTS line still.
There are a number of RSPs who resold Spark copper who are also in the process of moving their voice customers to Baseband IP using Chorus ISAM-V cards. There are obviously pros and cons to continuing to deliver voice over copper vs switching directly to CPE based VoIP now, remembering that once the copper network is decommissioned they'll then have to migrate customers again.
Huh interesting. Didn't realise the move to CCN was moving forward that quickly!
And yea good point, didn't think about ISAM-V cards.
All new installs on Docsis 3.1 network have to be VOIP and I believe letters are being sent out soon to transfer all cable customers with voice to VOIP.

Interesting, so if we still have the Cisco modem we will get pushed on to fibrex with voip?

CCN will migrate heavily very soon.
I've very much admired the effort the team has done here, where they want every fine point to be looked after before moving customers.
As installerUFB has noted, there is already tons of lmsip cards out there in some areas. you also have all the other (given legacy products) cabinets out there.

Plenty more migrating to CPE provided services.. I've got very much mixed emotions about those.
Personally i love the extra detail available on ISAM-V tests over what is currently provided by NEAX's.
For those stuck on copper, it can be a godsense over them being on PCM's
