Just wondered if anyone else had taken up their offer and wether they have had any problems getting connected.
Thanks.

To be more specific i am talking about porting a vodafone pre pay number over to the telstraclear total plan (500 free text, 29 cent calls to any phone, $20 per month, 24 month plan).

My wife was ported (kept her 021) from Voda to TCL a couple of weeks ago.
Very happy to report it was a fantastic transition.
The only glitch was around the timing of it, the sales rep said 3 days..... not even close! it's a 10 day operation to get the mobile programed, shipped & activated.

I ported my 021 prepaid mobile to accept their offer.

No problems whatsoever except the timeframe as previously mentioned.

Anyone signed up without porting? Someone told me they're using their 023 number range for this rather than their old 029 - can anyone confirm?

You mean TelstraClear Mobile don't you?
(Sorry, a pet peeve of mine is people being lazy and only using the Telstra part of the name).

I just had a thought, considering TelstraClear Mobile hangs off the Telecom CDMA network, would Telecom users on the boost plan have texts to TelstraClear covered under their 2000 text allocation? I'm assuming that this is purely a Telecom hardware based service with a TelstraClear logo and billing to TCL also.

At this point in time, yes (Freetime Telecom included minutes can be used as well).

This may change with WCDMA.

Anyone know if you can sign up for this deal and keep your existing phone? It would be great if TelstraClear offered a reduced price for those of us who already have a phone and don't need the Nokia 6275i.
