Hi,

I have Telstra digital TV service from the STB.

One of the key reasons I chose Telstra over Sky is that that I can record a digital STB output for channel "X" while tuning my TV to one of the other unscrambled analogue signals that also come down the cable.

However I noticed that in recent weeks my 12yo Phillips can no longer find the TV3 signal but a newer TV that I bought can find it.

I was wondering if Telstra have changed the frequencies or if my tuner is faulty. Any thoughts?

PS I dont want to swap the Phillips for the newer TV as its only a 14inch for the kids video's.

You have tried rescanning or manually tuning on the philips, right?

Yes, both on auto search and manual search. Plus I plugged my new TV into the same cable socket so I know its not the wiring.

Out of interest, I am doubtful its my TV's tuner as you would think I'd lose other stations on the same band?

Not sure if they have changed the frequency but I do know they made some changes to the way it was being transmitted so might have changed frequency at the same time.
