I'm off to Japan this Sunday and still have a VF SIM1 contract card and older 2G phone. I'm thinking of buying a Nokia 6120c to give me 3G coverage in Japan, and the freedom to use it for  3G 2100MHz coverage in NZ through VF or possibly if I jump ship to Telecom XT later via 3G 850Mhz. Can anyone confirm whether my old SIM1 card will work in Japan with the 3G networks there? VF technical weren't too sure about this one. Sure, I could upgrade to a SIM2 card, but there are reasons I don't want to do this just yet.

Tivo upgrades to operate with the new OzTivo EPG, support and service. Over 400 performed here so far. See: www.hillcrest.net.nz
