Telecomnz are running a competition on Twitter ending tonight at midnight. The competition is to tweet a Haiku poem of 5 / 7 / 5 syllables. The winner will receive a free phone.

To my enlightenment, Vodafonenz entered the competition via a tweet to Telecomnz with the poem (and i quote):

vodafoneNZ@telecomnz interference sucks/my call can't be connected/I'll see you in court? Waddaya think - too cheeky?

Followed by Paul (from Vodafone) stating:

paulbrislenoh, I've just been very naughty.

And Telecomnz stating:

TelecomNZ@vodafoneNZ Thanks for your entry if you win you have to switch you realise :)

And finally followed by Vodafonenz (Obviously Paul):

vodafoneNZ@TelecomNZ Yeah... there may be an issue with that. Let's cross that bridge when we etc, eh?

Brilliant stuff - I love a big corporates that can joke around!

I guess this is the beauty of Twitter - formal, yet not!
