Let's do some maths to compare with multiple handsets on 50c a minute prepay (Telecom's mates rates and Vodafone's Motormouth. Note that you'll need two handsets to use this method). I'll choose the $35 a month plan.

120 minutes = $60.
60 texts = $12
10 pxts = ? I'm not convinced pxts are common, so I'll choose $3.

Total = $75, so there is a discount of about 55%.

This compares with Get 200 ($30 a month), 200 off peak minutes ($100), 20 txts ($8), 10 pxts = my choice of $3; Total = $111, so there is a discount of about 73%. Note that Get 200 came out in about 2000 and is not available to new customers.

Yes I just called VF to ask why I am being charged $18.95 when their web site states $16.95. I was told the price dropped today !

Interesting considering Paul Brislin said in the media VF would not drop prices in reaction to 2degrees !
I'm sure VF will say these price changes are an unrelated price drop Wink

Good stuff, but funny how the price drop is only on the plans that you can't get add ons for?

So technically, my bestmate is costing me about $18, not $6 (as i have to buy a more expensive plan with fewer minutes to be able to get it)
