Signs are up, assume it is going to be vodafone owned as opposed to the Mobile 1 type setup.

Hopefully they do well, it's always good to see national chains opening in smaller towns.

I dont know so dont quote me.

I doubt very much as Vodafone have some key owned stores but a few years ago they went through and sold most of them off to there dealer network.

Most Vodafone shops are Digital Mobile partner program or Partnership Opportunities or First Mobile Licensee Opportunities something along those lines / Dick Smith and electrical stores.

It will be more than likely a dealer from Queenstown or Invercargill.

Yep they are branded Vodafone but you will see dealer etc on the smaller signage generally.

I know they advertised for positions a few months ago and I'm sure it was vodafone but you could be right.

Hey c'mon Gore is the brown trout fishing capital of the world.

Also don't forget that Southland produces over 30% of NZ's GDP despite having less than 10% of the population so we deserve a few more services down this way.

I would be guessing, but VF would only have stores in areas they want to a point of presence, but their dealer partners find the overheads too high to justify setting up shop.

I'm going back home there on the 17th, should be a laugh. Do they have 3G Vodafone service yet?

Yes, only 900 though, no 2100. Works well though if you have the right phone.
