My wife ported her 2Degrees 022 number to Vodafone because it's a word number she wants to keep.

She has been trying to sign up for texts from Facebook and Twitter, but in both cases has been unsuccessful.

In the case of Twitter, 022 isn't a listed prefix on the site when setting up a mobile number.

With Facebook, sending F as instructed to 3223 never results in a response.

Is there anyone at Vodafone who might be able to pursue this, or can any one suggest a way of getting this resolved? I am wondering if some company in NZ is in charge of the gateway for both services.

I think this needs to be done from Twitter and Facebook - these services are the ones using the old "021/027" limits...

Yes, a friend with a nice 022 that he ported has the same issue. FB support just say they support 021 027 only. nothing from twitter at all.
