I have looked into plan myself and found that I'd probably be spending more money for the amount of usage I currently go through.

Most of my calls are 021-021/9 (both on and off-peak), same with texts. Maybe a few 021-Landline calls during the night which are a rare.
From the brief look I had, it looked like I would spend more. And then there is the small thing like the two year contract which is a bit inflexble.

Personally, I'd perfer motormouth at this time.

Again, thats just me - it probably suits others better.

i think what also may be misleading is that you pay a premium price for the base plan, and then pay extra on top of that for the so called add-ons, and if you overuse your txts or free minutes, you get charged even more- it could end up being quite expensive.

I don't like the horrid base plans. Why can't we add the options onto the "get" plans or any other plan.. it would suit people much better

Why not have then double upppable, like two 100TXT plans, etc. and just have a $20 minimum spend each month rather than this archaic "free minutes" base they seem to have an obsession with in NZ.

and WHY ar they all XX.99 rather than just $20, $7, $10, $30.

How stupid, but so are Vodafone since the departure of Grahame Maher..

UGH!

Sign up rate is very poor anyway even with all the advertising.. Hopefully within a few months when the whole campaign is deemed a dismal failure they'll come out with some decent plans those of us who weren't stupid enough to sign a 24month contract can change too! :-)

Yeah I looked at it from my $30 dollors a month plus 200 free minutes and Im better off sticking to that deal and staying where I am.

Even with the add ons I actually become worse off as I was looking to make some calls during the day and the costs added up more than what I get charged now.

Then the whole locked into a contract thing - no way what a huge backward step that is.

No there is nothing in the you choose option.

Its great idea and what they should have done is let you choose what you want to add on or take off on all current plans - that you dont have to be locked into a 24 month contract etc.

I would choose to add say a daytime call option say $10.00 a month extra for so many minutes etc.

Come on Vodafone.
