At the moment if you unlock a Moto V980 it will be converted to V975. And no updates yet on putting the V980 software into it again. Cheers!

Thanks guys. Is there anything wrong with it converting to a V975? Will it still be able to do the stuff I thought I was getting with the V980? eg: 3g, pxt etc.... I have found someone on Trademe that said they can unlock it for $40, shall I check it out more before I get it done? I just want to be able to put my old Sim2 in and go.

With V975 you can still do video calling, wap and pxt. But not Mobile TV, Streaming on Voda Live! (which eats a lot of $$$ of course). Haven't checked those people on TradeMe.
