called the 0508 number on the offchance, accorrding to the robot it is a scheduled 1/2 hour outage, which is coming up to an hour long so far.

You would think if they schedule an outage that at least a note on the service status page during said outage would be sensible.

I braved the helpdesk.

From what I could get,
an authentication server got restarted, reauthenticating everybody, slow process.

Seem to remember this happening a month or two back.
