im on adsl 2, my modem is a dynalink rta 1320

my speed

 


how do i make my internet faster , i have the modem pluged into the ADSL microfilter and it also has the phone line plugged into it as well and has one extension cord going from the microfilter to the jack.

 

i also checked my ADSL2+ Router url and it says my speed shloud be this ADSL Speed (DS/US)    3936/160 Kbps

 

but its not.... plz help

Your modem should not be plugged into the filter. You need to filter everything else, but not the modem.

then how do i plug the modem into the phone jack? its a different plug

From memory the RTA1320 includes two different cables so that you can plug it into either type of socket. Check the box :)

aww thanks man i found the otha cord haha, it only made it slightly better . im upgrading my internet today anyway, coz i had the next step up from dial up thats y it was so slow haha.
