Is anyone else experiencing issues in Chc today on the cable network?

I'm having issues with my 2talk service but also but having just tried to send some email I'm starting to wonder if it's just a TC issue that's upsetting my phone service.

Parts of chch are currently down. I just got off the phone with l1hd (which I confess at this time of day are really really good at TC.nz)

It transpires that the earth quakes here have taken their final toll on the router with on going power outages. While it was still running and not showing packet loss, there was something very very wrong somewhere.

I have replaced the router just now, with a new one, and retested the calling. We are back on line and I have learnt some more things about voip that I didn't know and perhaps will be a little more self reliant in the future.

Thanks for the info guys.
