Hi
Can someone tell me what if any Terms & Conditions there are if I sign up for naked broadband with vodafone and DON'T sign up for the 12 month contract?

As far as I can tell the benefits of signing up for the contract are a free wireless modem ($150) and a free connection fee ($99).
Downsides are paying a $199 early termination charge if I cancel the service or $150 to move it to a new residence.

Signing up without the 12month contract I'll need my own modem obviously and will have to pay the $99 connection fee. No termination charge for canceling the service but I expect there will be a $150 to move residence as well.

Are my assumptions here accurate?

This is the only page I can find relating to this and it specifically states these are the T&Cs for the 12month contract:
http://help.vodafone.co.nz/app/topics/search/1/topic_name/Internet/c/4175/kw/naked%20broadband%20terms%20and%20conditions/

Cheers

I was in red zone and had VF naked DSL under 12 month contract. moved house with my existing VF naked broadband connection into another red zone house. no moving fees charged.

mate at work got charged $150 for moving house because he moved from red zone area to telecome wholesale area. although he just extended his contract to another 12 months and $150 was waived off.

So the T&C are more what you'd call "guidelines" than actual rules?

Ask nicely and they'll waive the fee?

Ask nicely and they will indeed be nice but it does depends on the CSR. best to speak to someone in the accounts dept and just explain your situation.
