Hey Guys, my first post on here, hope I do ok.

I was recently on the Vodafone website looking for a higher data plan for my iPhone, and noticed the only options are 50MB for $6, and 100MB for $10. I remember seeing when I got my iPhone 4 a 512MB plan for $30 (which I think is too expensive for only 512MB.)

I'm currently on the 100MB plan and most of the time go over that, and I constantly worry I will go over cause it's only 100MB.

So does anyone know if Vodafone will release bigger plans for non Smart Plan users (I'm on the Starter 2000 plan with BB Lite 100MB), cause Smart Plan users have 250MB/500MB/1GB on their plans and have 3GB limited time offer that never seems to end. But I can’t use those plans cause of the tiny limit of 300 TXTs or 600 TXTs (depending on plan), and I don't need a large amount of calling minutes. Also they don't allow add-ons, so I cant add the TXT2000 to one of them... Another thing I don't get is only Super Prepay users get nonstop Facebook and Twitter, why not On-Account???

Maybe someone on here from Vodafone can shed some light on when or if they will increase the data caps on their BB Add-ons. Or increase the TXT limits on the Smart Plans

A 1GB plan for $25 or $30 would be nice… :-)

Small Vodafone NZ Data PlansC'mon Vodafone, we need MORE DATA!!

I'm not aware of any reason why you can't just add the 512MB, 2GB or 4GB plans to your existing account.

I've had a good look on their website. And can't find the 2GB plans you are talking about.

Look under mobile broadband rather than "internet on your phone"

Thanks guys,

But they still a little expensive for me. As i'm only 18 and am already paying $40 for my plan.

Anyone know if the 3GB deal on the Smart Plans will ever end? lol

The 3Gig offer is going nowhere at this stage. No end date planned

However there's also no guarantees it will stay on forever. In other words don't sign a 24 month contract just because of this 3GB offer - it could end the day after you sign the contract...

@ John.

I was thinking about going on the Smart 1 plan even when it was 250MB but the only thing stopping me was the small amount of TXTs included. Is there any way on your system to add a TXT2000 bundle to the plan, I would happily pay the extra $10?

Exactly why I went to 2degrees.  I bet there are many customers in the same boat - I just dont understand why they dont put a date on it!?  At least then one would know what they were signing up to!!

Sort of related to this - how do I change my Vodem from Prepay back to On-Account? I just called 678 and the girl was useless, she wanted to transfer me to Prepay for some reason?

I either want the $1 casual rate (is this possible for on-account?) or the $10 Lite plan. Do I need to visit a shop to do this? John?

On postpay you have to be on at least the $10 100meg.

You will need to visit a store and when migrating from Prepay to Postpay it will take a few hours for packet switch data to start working

When migrating from Postpay to Prepay a store visit is not required
