Has TelstraClear quietly changed the price of additional decoders? I'm pretty sure it was $15 dollars for an extra decoder, but looking here: http://www.telstraclear.co.nz/residential/inhome/packages/ it clearly says extra decoders are $25.

Just checked, and my additional decoders are still at the old rate - phew...

Yes they have sadly. Another excellent point of difference from Sky taken away.

Ya,

Got the internal email last year about it.

People that had the $14.95 decoders before the upgrade in price will keep that price but if you remove one and then put it back say on hello to 10 more,

Also if you have a T-Box you get the HD ticket included.. So think of it the same price as getting an additional decoder and then getting an HD ticket..

Keep in mind also that Analogue decoders are just about phased out...

I just saw this after I posted my rant about analogue to digital.

So if I upgrade my digital to T-Box, what is the cost for that, both the installation and monthly cost?

I might just ditch the idea of a second box and just use Freeview in that room.
