Hey I got a txt the other day from Vodafone saying there was a free software upgrade for my phone (Samzung ZV10).
Just wondering if anyone knows what the upgrade is for and what it does.

The upgrade improves many things on the handset and I would advise to get this done soon

I have not found any release notes sorry

Ok so I took my phone into the Vodafone shop after work (around 5.30) on tuesday the 6th, said the upgrade was cause there was an issue they found with some of the phones. Said it would take about a day to get to the place, a day to do the upgrade and another day to get it back.
So the next when I get home from work, there was a message left on the answer phone asking me to bring my recept in again cause the photo copy they made of it wasn't very clear for the upgrade people.

So now its the 17th, and I still haven't got the call that my phone is back yet. (but im using my old phone so I can still txt and stuff.) Anyone know why it's taking so long? Is it cause everyone's getting it done so they're busy? I'm gonna go into the shop tomorrow and see what's up.

Went into Vodafone today, my phone is "At repair" as of monday (thats when theyt got it) and the lastest info they had on it was for on Friday.

Well I got it back today, haven't noticed any change really. Will see how things like battery performace (and stuff like that) are during a weekend of constant use Tongue out

Anyone know what's changed?

I noticed a new menu in the 'connectivty' part of it. You can now select your prefered networks to roam on. And it has a really long list of (what Im guessing) are all the networks you can roam won with voda nz
