The same reason why some people complained of Telecom when they tried to roam in certain destinations and find out their iPhone and other devices couldn't do it (no suport for dual IMSI, which is used by the telcos in some situations).

When you select a country that requires a extended roaming SIM this shows up

" In order to roam to this destination, you will need to swap your current SIM for a new one " Then a URL off to " Find out about extended roaming. "
