Hey, guys
I just want to upload the photos and videos in my mobile phone to a server on the internet via Vodafone GPRS, what vodafone data plan do you suggest? Thanks

depend on how often and how much you expect to use. i'd suggest start with 3MB ($15 i think) and use that as your benchmark for first month. and if you think you'll use more, then increase to the next plan up.

just don't do any data on casual as it's a huge ripoff.

anyway, what do u think about the Vodafone GPRS? is it good? stable?

i have 3MB on my normal SIM/Vodafone Account. and 1GB on my data-only SIM/TelstraClear Account.

on my phone, i used GPRS which is alright but very slow, 56Kbit. where I use UMTS on my Vodafone Mobile Connect card with 1GB plan.




Internet is my backyard...

You need to ask yourself what size are the files I am sending and how many on average I would send a month

And if possible use a 3G device in 3G coverage uplink is max 128k and average about 110k

I have asked Vodafone and some guy told me he could not tell me an average speed rate but no doubt it will be very slow to use. Anyway, im going to get that plan tomorrow
