Just got a strange email from vodafone.

Subject line was "You've now got extra data". Email arrived as what I would describe as a "brochure".

One section thanked me for upgrading to My Sky + which I have not done.

My account details in another section appeared correct as did my package details.

No mention anywhere about any extra data either?????

Hey folks,

We've had a few calls at the call centre about this as well. It looks like the email is one of VF's intermittent hi did you know info emails. I've had this escalated so it can be looked at by the appropriate people in the morning.

My guess is the extra data it is referring to is the previous extra data upgrade VF did and this email was supposed to have an article reminding people of this.

I have not seen an example with the My Sky +.

That's not thanking you for upgrading to MySky +, it's trying to sell it to you...

Just to be clear there were some emails that were sent out that had the incorrect messages on them. The first couple of posts here did contribute to bringing this to light promptly.
