Has anyone successfully setup GPRS and MMS on a Voq Professional Phone? They run Windows SP 2003. I've tried using the setting from vodafones website and in the pinned topics in this forum but no luck.

I tried a bunch of different settings, but I think it should be the following right?

Connects to: The Internet
Access Point: live.vodafone.com
User name:
Password:
Primary DNS:
Secondary DNS:
IP address: 172.030.038.003

I've tried setting the DNS to http://live.vodafone.com, http://wap.vodafone.net.nz, and www.vodafone.net.nz, but it keeps reverting to 0.0.0.0. Also tried adding the port (9201) to the end of the IP address.

Ideas anyone?

You may need to use port 8080 not 9201

Check this post for all configurations you need to use: http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?ForumId=17&TopicId=4440

Please disregard johnr comments. The "imported handset" problem is only there if you want to use Vodafone live! with music download and video streaming. For GPRS and MMS access the settings for the Voq Professional and Motorola MPX220 are the same.

Thanks for the info Mauricio, but my phone doesn't have "WAP Proxy:" or "MMS:" under Data Connections, and doesn't have "MMS Settings" in the start menu.

I haven't checked the sim in another phone yet (will do this weekend), but I checked with vodafone and the services are enabled on it on a network level so it should be working.
