Does anyone have an inside line on when (if) this phone is going to be released by Vodafone.  I figure it must be a replacement for the v600i and they are waiting for the v600i stocks to go....but of course i'm just guessing

Anyone know anything?

I'm surprised that it's taken this long, considering that it's been on Sony Ericsson's New Zealand web site for a while now.

I heard there were some delays with the Radio DJ service and that like other countries this will be one of the big sellings points for this phone.

Either that or they're buddying up to SE and flogging off container loads of V600i's that nobody else in the world wants! :-)

I'm waiting for them to reach the $200 mark, then I'l probabally upgrade from my trusty T630.

You can get them well below that at present if you're willing to sign a contract.

As for an off the shelf cash price you can get these for $285 now which IMHO represents extremely good value for money for what is still a very good 3G phone. It's really only lacking a memory card slot.

yes, it's a fair price actually and it has pretty much every feature I want, I just don't find myself wanting one....

I'll likely have to buy one though if the 630 hasn't come out by the end of the month!

One Distie is listing stock levels of the V600i as 'Good' and still no indication it is due to go EOL.
