Anyone else seen the advertising and billboards for the Vodem which make the 'Broadband Everywhere' claim? Not even a little '*' and fine print. Seems a bit misleading when Voda claim to have 3G coverage to around 50% of the population.

What is "broadband"?

To quote Wikipedia

"Broadband in general electronics and telecommunications is a term which refers to a signaling method which includes or handles a relatively wide range of frequencies which may be divided into channels or frequency bins. "

Therefore all cellular communications is broadband by default.

The term broaband was discussed here before, and in the sense of a wide channel for movement of information.
