Vodafone New Zealand this time is almost a footnote in the Group's Quarterly report (ending Dec 2011).

The report says "In New Zealand service revenue growth was impacted by voice and SMS termination rate cuts and the uptake of more competitively priced tariffs."

Numbers show a decline of 14,000 customers, down to 2,420,000 - of which 66.8% are on prepay. Australia shows no change in customer numbers, with 3,362,000 customers with only 39% on prepay.

I think you've copied the wrong stats, they aren't for NZ!

Customer numbers were down 14000 to 2.42 million and prepay connections were 66.8%
