Did a bit of a search but couldnt find much. Im after a good app for apple and andriod phones to talk over WIFI to each other. I will have apple, she has Android. Weve got Tango, but seems to be dropping calls after 20secs or so. Viber was also suggested. Any other suggestions that will be good and pref. free?

Bria is the best soft phone around. You will need a SIP server of some sort to connect to it

If you just want to talk to each other - go with Skype.  By far the most reliable across all kinds of Internet conditions, and it's multi platform.

Viber, in my experience, is not even close to the same quality on the same connection.
