Has anyone else tried using the VOIP s/w Jajah?
I downloaded it the other day excited by the prospect of free international calling as I make a lot of calls to Japan.

As required both parties need to register but once my contact registered in Japan, and did a test call it just started asking her to make payment??!!

Perhaps your friend didn't register with the same phone number used on the service?

You can only register your existing Landline number which she did and I registered mine.

Jajah advertises free international calling once registered. Seemed fine from my end but from the Japan end it just prompted her to make a credit card payment.

Perhaps it's country specific who gets it free but doesn't specify that on their website...
