Hi All,

Has anybody else been having any problems with Skype laterly?

At times I can't even connect to the Skype call testing service and have to try at least 3 times before it connects.

The quality once I make a call to another Skype user is terrible even when I switch the video off at both ends.

I have been trying to get on Skype for 2 weeks. I have it on Ipad and Pc. Ipad wanted a Skypename and password and wouldnt accept my password. Changed password several times, which was always confirmed by email from Skype but refused to accept it saying I had tried incorrect email too many times. I think I changed it four times - same story. My PC just says Home Skype Unavailable??? Have ben on Skype help which always leads me down the same path with no results. Where to from here?? Anyone else out there with similar story. I have been using Skype for about 10 years with no problems.

I got a email from Skype recently, something about a credit for some problem. May be related. Deleted the email as I don't use it much.

Well, I think it is some server issue, as timmmay said, because I have been having some issues like call disconnections and distortion in recent days.

I use it to chat to a friend in California - sweet connections with both audio and video

Last time I had a Skype problem I upgraded to the latest version which fixed it. Try it if you haven't already.
