Hi All (Tony)

I saw your previous thread on this topic - but it was closed, so I couldn't reply to it.
Please can you assist me with this, becasue if my wife has to put up with one more late night/muffled swear words from the closed office - I am not going to need a household pbx system - if you get my drift...

I have trixbox and 3102 connected, and outbound calling is fine. I have the appropriate trunks setup, and all looks ok.
Here is where it gets tricky. I have a softphone for testing on ext 100, and I have a normal analogue connected to line1 of the SPA(ext 104). I can dial FROM the SPA phone (ext104) to my softphone (ext 100) no problem.
I cannot dial to ext 104 from my ext100 softphone though, I get "call failed service unavailable" message, with an out of service tone.

Also, I cannot receive incoming pstn calls through the SPA. I used to have the same problem as you - just getting a dialtone, but I fixed that with a Dial plan... Now when I call from my mobile, I just hear the line ringing and ringing.

No logs in the ASterix show the calls ever coming through. I have a catchall inbound route, with a ring-all ring group. When I log onto the SPA, the info page tells me the device is ringing (when I am ringing through from the mobile)

Could it be something to do with dial plans? I don't really understand these - there are som many formats/options out there. Also I have followed several howto's to get this setup, and I am afraid I have got something jumbled.Something I noticed was - my pstn Trunk was configured to use port 5061 and all of my extensions are port 5060. But if I change the trunk's port, I can't dial out. Not sure if that matters, as I can dial out from my softphone, through the outbound pstn trunk.

Please please could someone help me - I am losing my marbles...

Thanks,
Z

Apologies for not introducing myself, as I am an obvious GZ newbie as far as posting goes, but due to the lack of sleep/frustration levels, I completely forgot. Thanks for all of your help in the past, I look forward to returning the assistance.

Regards,
Z

Ok, I managed to get it going.
I followed these instructions to a T, and I am pleased to say they work.
