Hi There,

I am a newbie here. I have the 3cx pbx installed on my system. I live in Denmark.

My system is:

WinXP on proliant ml110g5 with 3CX server connected to one of the router lan ports
Edimax BR6504n wireless router
PAP2T (two of them connected to two of the lan ports of the router)
RTX Dual cordless dect phones connected to line 1 of each PAP2T

I would like to know if I send a PAP2T to my sister in NZ and have her connect it to one of the lan ports of her router, would it be possible for me to configure the PAP2T from my location (Denmark)?

How would I log on to the PAP2T which is in NZ from my pc in Denmark?

I would appreciate any help.

regards
marcopolo

It will work and if your sister's router is configured for DHCP then it should just be plug-and-play.

For any other configurations after this you would probably need to remote control your sister's PC to have access to her network from inside though.
