We've tried 2Talk (stung us for unexpected costs and we found it difficult to follow their billing including what is included or not included in the plan we purchased).

We're currently with CloudEdge (again their invoices are not clear and appear to be double invoicing for the same period and do not provide us the calling analysis promised.

So is there a provider out there who has a proven record of good service and accurate invoicing please? Would really appreciate a recommendation.

Thanks so much in advance.

Hey. You will find most providers piggyback from the 2talk system. I guess it comes down to who has their s#!t together.
I think there are a couple of firms in Christchurch and Auckland that may be able to give you a hand. Try talking to uFone :)

We use 2talk and haven't had an issue with them. If you don't mind me asking, what were the additional charges from 2talk as they operate on a prepaid service?

You could look at WxC (AKA Vodafone Next Gen).

We are a 2talk re-seller using their 'White Label' platform. One thing we realised early on was the prepaid and pro rata billing is quite hard for customers to understand. So something we did was build our own invoice generator and just simply take the billing feed from 2talk so that we can adjust how some charges are displayed to the customer and it meant we could do "normal" post-paid invoice. We can then still give customers a login for the billing portal (branded with our stuff, but run purely by 2talk) to see their entire call records and manage cloud pbx features (call forwarding seems to be the main one) as required.

Saying all that, I've got no issue recommending Digital Island. They've got nice phones, great techs, and a "normal" billing system.

What sort of call reporting do you require? It sounds like you may have a requirement that isn't "standard"

We sell both 2talk and Broadsoft - 2talk has terrible reporting, but we built something to fix that and Broadsoft has pretty good reporting, but not at a 2talk price!

My business has been with 2talk since their early days (10+ years). I can't complain for $40.25 ($35 +GST) per month. It's a reliable service and has saved me soooo muuuccch monnneyyy.

Thanks for the feedback so far. I agree I couldn't complain about the 2Talk standard pricing.

We need 5 lines and 10 DDIs and 2 toll-free numbers (NZ x 1 and Aus x 1) and reporting of calls by DDIs.

I only just noticed this and have not used it (though I am familiar with the broadsoft products)

Thanks all - so far I've got uFone, WxC, Compass cloudpbx, Broadsoft, Spark but is anyone with Dynamiteit?

Reporting required is calls per DDI which CloudEdge promised during salespitch but have yet to deliver.

And I can't accept incorrect invoices and discrepancies to amounts on their portal vs invoices sent to us to pay. Every month there's been some billing issue! Ugh. So I'm keen to move on but obviously want a good provider at a reasonable price.

I can recommend conversant too. We have a number of happy clients with them.
