I have two identical Yealink T26P phones, one works fine, the other keeps coming up with "registration fail". Rebooting doesn't seem to help. When I look at my 2talk account the last registration is shown at random times, not related to any action on my part.
Is this likely to be a fault with the phone? (which is new)

Are you trying to register multiple phones with different VoIP registrations behind a single router all using port 5060?

Thanks sbiddle. Yes, each phone has a different 2talk number and they are all using 5060.

That's a problem you need to fix first of all as it's a scenario that can't work.

If you have both using port 5060 for outgoing your NAT router is only going to be able to route inbound calls through the router to the phone for the last phone that registered.

You need to ensure that both are using different ports. Some routers will do this if it already has port 5060 in it's NAT table, some won't.

Thanks, what numbers can I use and which shall I change?

SIP Server, Outbound Proxy Server and Backup Outbound Proxy Server
all user 5060

STUN Server uses port 3478

5061 is a start.

Most VoIP providers accept traffic on ports 5060 - around 5080 but since I don't use 2talk I have no idea what they accept.
