Hi.

I have recently connected an SPA 3102 to my asterisk solution. I am looking to utilise the FXO interface to connect to an ISDN2. Simple question will this work or will the PSTN interface have to be a POTS line?

I have the solution cabled up but cant pick up dial tone from the ISDN line, it is cabled between the ISDN2 to the FXO port as below.

ISDN --> RJ45 (straight) --> Straight Through Coupler --> RJ11(2wire) --> FXO

I get fluctauting voltage readings on the SPA 3102 so I beleive it may be wiring problem or a problem with the housing of the RJ11 end in the RJ45 coupler.

Any suggestions or ideas are appreciated.

Thanks,
Ian

The SPA3102 doesn't support ISDN, you still need to have a NT adapter converting the ISDN to POTS to use an analogue device.
