Correct... And you only need TCP 80 really.

If your public IP address is not static (i.e changes) then you should use a service such as www.dyndns.org to have a "name". Even if it's a static IP address you should still use www.dyndyns.org because it's easier to remember a name than the number.

There is only two computers so have not given it a static ip yet... will do when other computers come online... this is my IP and I can not access it...what's wrong then? http://203.160.119.219

Check the firewall on your PC. It probably accepts connections from itself but not from other computers.

I had already done that, Control Panel - Windows Firewall - Advanced - Settings...

Or is this something else?

What about other firewall software? Norton AV and Avast block access for example.

Also make sure you are using the default website on IIS, not a qualified domain.

Narr nothing, if I disbale my firewall it works fine. So everything is pointing to the right place. I obvisouly don't want to turn off my firewall so how do i get around this?/

So having a website with say 200 hits a day how much drain would this put on my computer?? i know this depends a lot on how big each page is but just say for a basic webpage like this website? no to many graphics etc.

Page views are different of hits. A hit is when a client connect to the server for something - for example the page itself, and then each image or script. A page view may have multiple hits.

It will depend on how many images, size, etc... There's no way to know for sure - only you will know.
