Only 3 steps and your .pdf document will be fine by a guide, but in case .pdf file is seriously corrupted you may refer to sources below...

https://pdf.recoverytoolbox.com/ Recovery Toolbox for PDF
http://forums.techguy.org/windows-xp/1136365-repair-pdf-document-has-error.html
http://www.fixya.com/support/t25261237-repair_damaged_pdf

  1. Decipher the exact reason the PDF is not working. This is less difficult than it sounds. Simply open the PDF file and note the exact reason that the PDF is not working as shown in the box that pops up (e.g. "Cannot find or create the font..."). If you can, click and drag over the reason why the PDF is not working, right-click with the mouse, and copy that exact phrase.
  2. Go to adobe.com, click the "Support" tab on the top of the screen, click on "Adobe Reader," and then select the "I can't open a PDF document" statement underneath "Troubleshooting." Paste the exact phrase you copied earlier into the search box on the right-hand side of the Adobe Support screen. Click "Enter."
  3. Click on the "Adobe Troubleshooting" title that most closely matches the phrase you pasted into the search box. For example, if you paste "Cannot find or create the font..." into the Adobe Search box and select the one option available, you will receive specific directions detailing how to fix that particular problem. Follow the instructions you receive.
