I have just done a clean install of windows 10 on my PC and am trying to get it up-to-date.

Instead of waiting for it to automatically download to anniversary update I resorted to doing it manually with the tool from the MS website. After it's finished downloading it restarts and begins updating, at about 10% the PC shuts down immediately (similar to when you hold the power button) and then rolls back to the stable version. I would usually not bother with these types of things but I just want to play some Forza, and for some reason MS makes you update to play it.

Just asking looking for some advice on what may be wrong and what I can do to.

If you have only just done a clean install I would suggest doing another clean install, this time using build 1607 (the Anniversary Update). Just make new/up-to-date media using the Media Creation Toolkit.
