Hi got a new work PC acer Veriton (model ??) running win 7 32 bit i5 2400 processor ...

So going to and selecting desktop graphics -> intel core 2nd gen and downloading the exe file

when you install it unpacks the files and as soon as it starts to install something it says

"The setup program failed to install one or more drivers.
Setup will exit."

Google doesnt really help ...

Anyone has any ideas? I could live with the preinstalled drivers which are half a decade old but being a geek needs to explore solution before flying the white flag ...

Go to the Acer support page for that model and check for updated drivers there.

Hardware is not always exactly the same and not always compatible drivers. Unlikely here, but start the with Acer downloads for this model.
