This really belongs in the Linux section as well as here so I'll cross-link it. Can anybody point me on the right track for a compact X server for Windows so I can run my *nix programs from home on a remote Windows machine? Something I could fit on a USB key even?
I've seen screenies of this being done but it's kinda confusing. I understand the basic workings of an X server and how programs talk to it, but can someone spoon-feed me some good URLs or software etc? Thanks.
