Hi,

Hopefully someone can help me - are the docking stations for the Surface Pro 2 available now or early next year.

The Noel Leeming website says 3-4 days lead time for a docking station, although I'd hate to buy a surface 2 and the find that this is an error and I need to wait another 3-4 months looking at a tiny screen on a machine connected with wifi. (I want to use it as my desktop machine and mobile machine)

Thanks in advance

Amanon

Pretty sure it's not until next year.

the Surface Dock comes out early next year

If you can't wait you can always by a USB3 based dock

or even just plug in a miniDP dongle into your monitor and a BT keyboard

Here's what they look like:

Hi Nathan,

So is this promo by Noel Leeming is like a pre-order then?

I'm thinking about picking one up too for my gen-1 Surface Pro.

Cheers

Joseph

It has been available, so it's possible they have some.

Thanks guys.

IMHO, it's really quite dishonest for business to advertise something as 3-4 days delay with a 30% off discount. However, I have just noticed that their product page is gone and index is waiting to be refreshed.

Anyway, looking forward to see Surface accessories to show up here in NZ eventually.

it was an honest mistake on their behalf. I have one in the Microsoft Auckland office if you want to swing past and have a look and play

I want one on my desk :)

I was so ready to hand over the money the other night when I saw the advertising!
Hence my disappointment at them and their e-commerce system.
