Anyone else feeling the pain ?

on friday I approved some Wsus updates

kb916846
kb933729
kb925720
kb941202
kb943460

they have reamed word good and proper, on my PC i have uninstalled these updates and its back to normal. on some of my users I have uninstalled them and the problem still exists

3 cheers for microsloth - NOT

so when you open word it crashes... Nice!

I have all of those updates except KB916846 on my XP Pro machine and I have NO problems.

I've just checked a couple of SBS2003/XP Pro sites I maintain and they have all those updates and are not encountering any problems either.

Perhaps you should investigate other causes before bad mouthing Microsoft too much.

i removed the updates and word works again, Hmm yeah other causes, naaa what version of word do you have ?
