Hi Guys,
Just an FYI - You may note there is a Windows.old file in your System drive after you upgrade to Win10. Microsoft will keep this available for about a month just encase you itching to go back to your previous OS.

Now if your not just run the 'Disk Cleanup' tool , then look for and select the 'Clean Up System Files' button, I found close to 20GB being stored here that running Disk cleanup recovered.

Just be sure your happy to stay with Windows 10 as you cannot go back to the previous version of Windows without a full reinstall once these files have been cleaned up.

Was looking at that.... mines sitting on a 120GB SSD, so chewing up quite a bit of space... :) Will leave it for a week and then kill it.

What about folders that have downloaded via the automated update feature, but you have decided to install via a USB stick. It doesn't appear that it deletes those folders, so you have about 5GB being used.

I'd like to know about these as well, because it's causing my Daily Reflect backups to fail with the following error. (for the whole 5GB)

Error Reading:

\\?\GLOBALROOT\Device\HarddiskVolumeShadowCopy7\$Windows.~BT\Sources\SafeOS\SafeOS.Mount\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\ink\en-GB\tabskb.dll.mui

The file cannot be accessed by the system.

I just deleted the two folder, not sure if that is the right thing to do. But if it causes issues, I will just do a clean install.

Just put an exception then to either ignore the folder or ignore hidden files and folders.

Someone can correct me but I thing the following is true when you in the 'Clean Up System Files' section

Choose
1. Previous Windows installation(s) to get rid of Windows.old

2. Temporary Windows Installation Files to get rid of $Windows.~BT files

I mean, i have an install disk and a product key if I wanna go back. It's a fresh install anyway. I don't need windows to hold my hand.

if its a fresh clean install there won't be anything on the drive to save
