Hi all

I have just ordered a new graphics card to replace an old HD3450, and on the same PC I would like to upgrade from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10.

What's the best way to do this? Update Windows first and then install the graphics card, or the other way round? My hunch is to update Windows first so that I get a clean Windows 10 driver installation but I'm no geek!

Upgrade Windows - confirm all is ok.

THEN install graphics card.

That way if you have issues you know what the culprit is.

If you make both changes at the same time you may confuse the issue.

Plus windows 10 is pretty good at automagicing drivers.
