For some reason, there's a few PDF files, which my wife can't print from her PC (most of them she can).

She's now running Windows 10, but when she ran Windows 8, she had the same issue.

It's only happened a few times, but I still find it strange, as I can print the same PDF file with no issues from my Macbook Pro.

The printer we use is an HP Deskjet 1510 (connect via USB).

It's not the end of the world, but I'm still curious why this issue happens.

 Define "can't print" in detail.

Spark Max Fibre using Mikrotik CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+, CRS125-24G-1S, Unifi UAP, U6-Pro, UAP-AC-M-Pro, Apple TV 4K (2022), Apple TV 4K (2017), iPad Air 1st gen, iPad Air 4th gen, iPhone 13, SkyNZ3151 (the white box). If it doesn't move then it's data cabled.

She hits print. Nothing happens, although the job is shown in the print jobs window.

Then it disappears without actually printing. The printer does say a few noises, like it's about to start printing, but then that's it.

The PDF is not opening in Microsoft Edge by any chance? Are you able to try downloading Adobe Reader or Foxit Reader, opening the PDF in one of these programs and try printing again?

Mate...you're a genius!

Yes, was printing from Microsoft Edge. Have now installed Adobe Reader on the machine and it prints!

Thanks :-)

Often this kind of problem is just the default paper size different and some programs handle it better than others. Documents are often set to American paper size by default but we use a4.
