We just rolled out some XPS 13 9635 laptops to users, which was our first rollout of Windows 10 outside the IT Department

One of the issue the users found was that they could not use the on screen keyboard to convert pen typing to text - the option via the on screen keyboard is greyed out.

I managed to get another XPS 13 into the IT department and after installing every single driver I could find, was none the wiser as to why the selection was greyed out ... until a co-worker suggested changing the language of the keyboard.

I ended up installing Australia, UK and USA languages before finding that I could select the Pen Input under the USA language option.

At which point I grumbled "[insert choice words here]"

Why is this day and age does Microsoft continue to ignore all the other versions of English for options?

Maybe it does not perform well on average with NZ writing styles.

i thought the whole voice recognition had this as a fair point, but writing styles? surely not microsoft? unless it tracks back to local lingo or something like that....
