Connected the camera and it's installed the driver.

How do you find the file path to the camera?

I can't find My Computer to get there.

A couple of name changes with things in Windows 10, if you're not used to it. You should see "This PC" in File Explorer. Holding down the Windows key and hitting the 'e' key on your keyboard will open File Explorer.

Look for "My Computer"

or a drive letter / description of the camera.

(sometimes, - unplugging the Camera, and plugging it back in, while you have File Explorer open - can help you spot its drive letter 'pop up' )

Yup, found 'This Pc' and it shows the computer's C: drive and a flash drive I have plugged in as D: and nothing more. I've unplugged the camera and plugged it back in. It plays a little tune while doing that.

What model of camera? Some cameras required you to set a "file transfer" mode on the camera.

Open a PowerShell window(1) and run the command "Get-Volume" with the camera connected and disconnected and see if there is any difference. If there is none the PC may not be recognising the camera.

(1) Hold down the Windows key and strike the r key. Type powershell in the text box that appears and hit enter or click OK.

It doesn't always show in the left column. Check everything on the right of the screen. Check all folders. Look for camera names, DCIM, and anything else you can't identify. Right-click Start and click Disk Management. If the camera is being seen it should turn up there. Don't change anything. This is just to test.

No difference between having it connected and not connected.

It is possible a drive letter is not being assigned when you plug in the phone.

Windows + R key to bring out the Run window. From there, type in “diskmgmt.msc” and press Enter. Then you will see Disk Management with all the disks and partitions listed.

The bottom half shows ALL physical drives. Scroll through them to see if you can see your camera.

That is what I just suggested above. If it is singing to you when you plug it in, presumably the computer is seeing it.

It only sees the hard drive and a flash drive if I plug it in.
