Hi Guys,
I have many Mp3's on my PC. I want to know if there is any quick way to select all of these named files and importing them into a text format to view like a database? Saving myself valuable time copying and pasting each individual file name into Notepad. I am running Windows XP Home.

just the filename and not any other details??

start | run | cmd
Starts the command prompt.

Navigate to where your music is (cd \My Music)
then type
dir *.mp3 /s/b > c:\files.txt

Will create a listing of just filenames and their paths to a file called files.txt in the c:\
